Adam Morton
Adam Morton is the founder and principal advisor of Versix. He is a published O'Reilly author, international speaker, and data architecture specialist with over 20 years of experience working with enterprises across the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia.
Adam's career has been built at the intersection of technology strategy and practical delivery — helping organisations move beyond fragmented, siloed data environments toward unified foundations that can support autonomous AI agents and advanced analytics at scale.
His deep expertise across retail, insurance, financial services, and energy — combined with his ability to translate complex architectural concepts into clear business decisions — has made him a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and Chief Data Officers at some of Australia's largest organisations.
In 2019, the Australian Government awarded Adam a Global Talent Visa, formally recognising him as an exceptional leader in technology and innovation. He is the author of four books on data architecture, including titles published through O'Reilly, and reaches more than 5,000 technology leaders through his Modern Tech Talks Newsletter.
Adam's core belief is simple: the biggest risk facing enterprise data programs today is not technology — it is the gap between what organisations have invested in and what their teams know how to do with it. Versix exists to close that gap.
